NUTANIX – 18 JUNI- CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL EXAM TRAINING (NCP-5.15)

This event covers the Nutanix Certified Professional Exam (NCP-5.15)

This is a technical exam applicable to installation, pre-sales and administrators.

It is mandatory for ALL participants to study the available online materials in advance (available on the Nutanix Partner Portal and through Nutanix University). There is a high criteria to meet to pass these examinations. Without preparation, the exam training course itself will NOT be sufficient for candidates to pass.

The importance of the pre-work cannot be over emphasised.

In preparation for the exam training:

Firstly – read the exam blueprint – the exam tests knowledge beyond what is in the online material.NCP blueprint and the datasheet are available here: NCP Blueprint

Understanding of basic Nutanix architecture (Nutanix bible).

Complete the Nutanix Enterprise Cloud Administration (ECA) 5.15 Course

Check you have access to the course in Nutanix University (email your Nutanix Partner SE or partnerhelp@nutanix.com if have access issues).

Spread the online training over multiple sessions to ensure you are fully prepared

Allow yourself more than the recommended guide of 9 & 12 hours for the online material. People who have rushed through the material have found the exams particularly difficult.

Allow plenty of time for the pre-work, ideally several days beyond the online training, for each exam.

Become familiar with material in the blueprint that you may not have encountered previously, and make sure you get hands-on experience with the product.

Familiarity with the Prism interface is expected in the NCP exam. https://demo.nutanix.com/ is available for partners to become familiar with and demonstrate Prism.

Prism is a large part of the NCP exam. If you are not familiar with Prism you will not be able to guess the answers.
